March 8, 2010: Cape Town, South Africa
January 17, 2010: Basel, Switzerland
After a packed two and a half days in Washington, DC, the group arrived safely in Zurich, then took a train to Basel where they're settling into their hostel and getting some rest. It's chilly in Switzerland but the group's spirits are high.
January 28, 2010: Bangalore, India
The group arrived safely in Bangalore. They've already begun getting oriented to the city and are now settling in for their first night in India.
March 9, 2010: Changsha, China
Everyone arrived safely in Changsha yesterday, after a long journey via airplane, shuttle bus and train, including a tour of Hong Kong en route. They're resting up and feeling excited to explore the city that will be their new home for the next three weeks.
January 17, 2010: Washington, DC
The group is doing well in DC. It's a good day to catch up on rest, with rain pouring down here. Activities continue all next week, beginning with Martin Luther King Day service projects on Monday.
January 28, 2010: Johannesburg, South Africa
The group arrived safely and has moved into their hostel. They're tired but doing well!
March 9, 2010: Hanoi, Vietnam
Everyone arrived safely and happily to Hanoi on Friday. After a great vacation in South Africa, all the students were really happy top see each other again. The city is a bit of a shock after being in the bush for a month, but it's a nice change of pace, and they are loving the Vietnamese food!
October 5, 2009: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
The RG students group arrived safely in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, early Sunday morning. They are enjoying two days off in the city to recover from their long flight and will resume classes on Tuesday.
November 21, 2009: Delhi, India
The RG group arrived safely in Delhi, India, Saturday morning. They have two days off before moving in with host families and starting lectures again on Monday.
January 18, 2010: Wellington, New Zealand
The group arrived safely and in good spirits yesterday evening (NZ time). The weather is beautiful and they are enjoying their Wellington stay.
March 6, 2010: Mexico City, Mexico
After a long but smooth transit the group arrived, safe and healthy, in Mexico City! They were met by Mojdeh, the Mexico City and Chiapas coordinator, and taken to a hotel near the Zocalo, the heart of the historical district of the city. They will have two days to rest before they are moved into homestays in the community of Santo Domingo, and the program begins again.
